Verify your student status and request your wigo student discount

if you already have a wigo account

Then enter the email address registered both to your wigo account and you will automatically receive the student discount.

if you don't have a wigo account

Then download the wigo app, register, and after registration, enter the email address linked to the verified account and you will automatically receive the student discount.

as long as you're a student, it's automatically yours

Your student status will be automatically checked every six months after you apply for the discount via the Diverzum system.
Make sure to confirm your student status on the Diverzum website to automatically extend your student discount.

After applying for the student discount, it is valid for 6 months and automatically extends with a valid student status. If your student status expires or is not verified on the DIverzum platform after 6 months, your profile will automatically switch to a non-monthly fee wigo membership.

The 20% student discount cannot be combined with wigo extra membership. If you already have an active student discount, you do not need to select the wigo extra separately in the app to use the discount.

If your student status expires or you don't validate it on the Diverzum site, your profile will automatically become a basic wigo membership after 6 months.

To use the wigo extra student discount, first cancel your wigo extra subscription within the app:

1. Open My Account menu section in the app

2. Choose Membership editing on your profile

3. Save the '0 Ft per month’ option

4. Redeem the coupon code received through Diverzum for the free wigo extra

If your student discount is already active and you don't have an active wigo extra membership, you do not need to select wigo extra in the app to use the discount.

Open the wigo app, then go to My account → Review status to see your active student discount.
